MCP for Blender, still widely known as blender-mcp, is the reference way to let an agent drive Blender. The PyPI package was renamed from blender-mcp to mcp-for-blender. Existing setups keep working (uvx blender-mcp still runs the server), but new installs should use the new name.
After setup, fully quit and reopen your AI app (on Windows, quit it from the system tray), open Blender, and ask it to build something.
Pair it with Blender Agent Skills for production-grade workflows and engine export.
