Style Cards (one art style as hard limits, switch looks by switching cards)
/style-cards
A GameSkill original that writes a game's art style down as a card of measurable limits (canvas, colours and palette, alpha, triangles, shading, materials, textures, voxel grid), pastes it into every asset request and checks every asset against it. Ships 12 cards from pixel and one-bit to low-poly, voxel and toon, a no-dependency PNG checker, a Blender GLB checker and a palette locker; switch the whole look by switching the card.

Tested by GameSkill
34/34 checks passed on Blender 5.2.3 LTS (background, Workbench, glTF) + Python 3 standard library (2026-11-03): trigger, a runnable example, a screenshot and self-check, one job per skill, and English + Chinese docs. Trigger checks match prompts against skill descriptions; they are not a live agent run.

Written and tested by GameSkill for gameskill.dev. The ZIP holds the whole skill: SKILL.md and its Chinese version, scripts, a runnable example, tests, the self-check list and our test report.
A GameSkill original, released under MIT. The ZIP keeps LICENSE and CREDITS.md, which lists the workflow inspiration, the CC0 test assets and the third-party libraries with their licenses.

Self-check
- 先定卡并让用户确认,再做资源 / Pick the card and confirm it with the user before making assets
- 每次要美术资源都贴同一段卡片文字 / Paste the same card block into every asset request
- 每个资源都跑检查器,FAIL 先修再用 / Run the checker on every asset; fix FAILs before use
- 限制必须能测量,形容词放进 prompt 或 avoid / Limits must be measurable; adjectives go in prompt or avoid
- 换风格先做 3–5 个关键物件的对比图 / To switch style, remake 3-5 key subjects and show a side-by-side first
- 不把具体游戏或画师的风格写进卡 / Never put a named game's or artist's style in a card

rm /tmp/gameskill-style-cards.zipWhat you get
- 12 style cards as JSON: pixel 32, pixel 16, four-tone, one-bit dither, flat vector, paper cut-out, ink two-tone, low-poly flat, low-poly gradient, chunky voxel, micro voxel, toon
- tools/card.py: list the cards or print one as a block to paste into every asset request
- tools/check_image.py and tools/check_mesh.py: PASS / FAIL against a card, exit 0 only when all pass
- tools/pixelize.py: lock a small render to a card's palette with binary alpha and a 1 px outline
- A lighthouse built by code as pixel-32, low-poly-flat and voxel-chunky, each passing its card
Good fit
- Keeping AI-made or code-made assets in one style across a whole game
- Trying a game in pixel, low-poly or voxel before committing
- Turning a vague art direction into numbers an agent can check
Not for
- Making the assets: pair it with the pixel, Blender or 3D skills
- Judging taste: the checks catch numbers, you still compare by eye

Use the low-poly-flat style card for my farming game: give me the block to paste into asset requests, then check the three GLB props I exported from Blender and tell me what to fix.About this skill
Style Cards is a GameSkill original for keeping a game in one art style. A style written as adjectives drifts after a handful of assets; a style written as limits does not, because a script can check it. Each card is a short JSON file: the hard limits, one paragraph to paste into every request for art, and a list of things to avoid. The agent picks or writes the card with the user, pastes the same block every time, checks every asset with the PNG or GLB checker, and fixes failures before the asset is used.
Switching the look of a game becomes switching the card: the example builds one lighthouse as pixel-32, low-poly-flat and voxel-chunky, all by code, and each passes its own card. The idea of swapping one style definition to restyle a whole game comes from a post by @m4lkxx (link only; no code or text was used). The cards, palettes, tools and example are ours.

Construct
Describe a prop as data (parts in metres, joints, assembly order) and a deterministic engine builds it: an animated hologram page, and a glTF model with named parts, working joints and optional colliders for Godot, Unity, Unreal or Blender. Python standard library only.
Codixel
A pixel-art skill built on one idea: the agent writes code, it is not a painter. It asks for a reference image, then removes the background, pixelates, rigs with bones and animates it in code with a 2,000-line toolkit (core/pixel.js), showing every step on a sheet before making game files.
pixelfx
244 pixel-art effects written as code (fire, explosions, magic, weather, UI, pickups, critters) plus a draft, render, look, refine loop for making new ones; every effect exports a sprite sheet with Aseprite-style JSON for Godot, Unity, Phaser or any engine.

Hermes GameForge
A game-development plugin for Hermes Agent with 10 agent skills and 9 tools: SFX, music, NPC voices, pixel sprites, tilesets, low-poly 3D, web/Godot/Unity builds, a playtester that plays the build, and itch.io export. Runs offline by default.
open-game-skills
An MIT pack of about 190 SKILL.md agent skills for game design: combat feel, camera, traversal, world, validation, 2D/Spine and art pipeline, with a dispatcher and adapters for Three.js, PixiJS, Phaser, Cocos, Godot, Unity and Unreal.
3AGameFactory (GameFactory-3A)
An Apache-2.0 framework of agent skills and pipelines that turns a game requirement into assets (image, 3D, motion, audio, CG video) and engine-ready code for UE5, Blender, Unity, Godot 4 and three.js.
De-AI Game UI (remove the generic AI look from menus and HUDs, checked by a lint)
A GameSkill original that strips the tells of AI-made game UI (purple-blue gradients, glass panels, neon glows, emoji icons, one big radius, everything centred, identical buttons, epic-journey copy) and rebuilds the screen from the game's own world. Ships a 12-rule lint that reads computed styles in headless Chrome for any framework, a before/after pause menu and a mutation test proving every rule can fail.
