Everything Game Dev Code
An MIT scaffold for AI-assisted game development: 42 agents, 66 commands, 100+ skills and 115 rules for Unity, Unreal, Godot and HTML5, with adapters for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Kiro. Plan, write a GDD, set up an engine project or build a whole game with /full-game.

What you get
- 42 role agents (design, engineering, QA, release, live ops) and 66 slash commands
- 100+ skills and 115 rules, split into a shared base and isolated Unity, Unreal, Godot and web layers
- Setup commands per engine, /unity-build-fix, /tdd, /scene-bootstrap and an experimental /full-game
- /generate-assets for images, skyboxes, 3D models, SFX, music, voice and video through configurable providers
- 13 sample HTML games built with /full-game, plus a step-by-step tutorial
Good fit
- Teams that want one shared set of standards across several engines and coding assistants
- Running a project from GDD through QA and release with consistent agent roles
Not for
- Grabbing a single skill: it is designed as a whole scaffold
- Users who want a light setup; the rule and hook layers take time to learn
Try this prompt
/gdd a 2D roguelike deckbuilder for web, then /web-setup and /plan the first playable.Overview
Everything Game Dev Code treats AI-assisted game development as a structured workflow instead of a prompt list. Rules define standards, agents take roles, commands start work, skills hold reusable execution patterns, contexts shift priorities by project phase, and hooks keep generated files in sync.
Highlights
- Multi-engine with isolation: Unity, Unreal, Godot and HTML5 (2D canvas or Three.js) each extend a shared, engine-neutral base.
- Multi-harness: the same layers load in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Kiro via a shared
AGENTS.md. - Asset generation:
/generate-assetsproduces models, textures, audio and video from prompts; one sample game was built entirely from generated assets. - Tooling:
npm run doctordiagnoses hooks, engine profile and artifact drift.
License
MIT (LICENSE file in the repo). Independent community project.
Requirements
- Node.js 18+ for the hooks and validators
- Unity, Unreal, Godot or a browser, depending on the engine layer you use
